Meet The Team
Brian: Brian O’Rear is a Distinguished Graduate from the U.S. Air Force Academy with a degree in Engineering. He was a fighter pilot in Desert Storm and later flew the B-2 Stealth bomber in combat during Kosovo, Afghanistan, and Iraq. He retired from military service as a Colonel in 2009 and moved to Louisville with his family to pursue success in small business. He started HomeTeam that year and has grown it to the number one home inspection business in the area, serving over 2,000 clients each year.
Mike: Mike Dreyer is our Senior Master Inspector. He is married to Natalie, and they have a beautiful little girl named Madelyn. Mike is a combat veteran, having served the nation in Iraq during two tours with the Marine Corps. He enjoys shooting, camping, and working on his house in Floyds Knobs, which he completely renovated from the crawl space up. Mike has been with HomeTeam almost from the beginning, and as our Training Officer, his experience and insight help keep us trained to the highest standards possible.
Andy: Andy is the father of a baby girl (Harper) and is married to an awesome girl named Katie. He is an Afghan combat veteran and separated from the Marines as a Sgt. Originally from St.Louis, he has lived in Louisville for 18 years and considers Louisville home. Andy has more than 3,000 inspections to his credit, and he looks forward to serving and protecting homebuyers for many years to come.
Jason: Jason is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He grew up in Maryland along the Potomac River where he could either be found on the golf course or the rivers and creeks, fishing and crabbing. Jason and his wife, Stephanie, along with their family, enjoy the quiet life in Palmyra, Indiana. When not inspecting homes, he can be found on the golf course or softball fields coaching. Jason and his family are members of Valley View Church in Louisville, KY, where he serves as an usher and greeter at the information center. He, his wife and 4 children love spending time together and raising their pets. They currently have 2 dogs, 2 parakeets, a guinea pig and chickens.
Tommy: Tommy Nutt is a former Marine and a veteran of Afghanistan. He enjoys an active lifestyle playing in local baseball and softball leagues. He has been with the company since 2013 and worked his way up to Master Inspector in early 2016. Tommy has more than 2,000 inspections under his belt.
Neal: At 18 years of age, Neal joined the Army where he served as an aircraft crew chief before being accepted to flight school. He spent the majority of his military career as a UH60 Blackhawk pilot. In 1999 he transitioned to the Indiana Nat'l Guard, where he maintained active duty flight requirements while simultaneously pursuing careers in IT and Business Management. Neal is a Master Inspector and also brings decades of business experience to the company.
Jay: Jason “Jay” Light is originally from Owen County in Indiana. He loves being outdoors and enjoys fishing, kayaking, hunting, and hiking. Jay left Indiana to join the Marine Corps at age 23. He served a four year enlistment as an ordnance man with the AH-1W Cobra and UH-1N Huey Light-Attack Helicopters. Jay moved to Louisville in 2010 and attended the University of Louisville where he obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Human Performance. Jay loves to watch all sporting events pertaining to the Louisville Cardinals and his original home favorite Indiana Hoosiers.
Stephanie: Stephanie is a Systems Analyst and is a wonderful mom to her three daughters. She brings many years of small business experience and an extensive building and remodeling background to the team. She is also an excellent driver (on a closed circuit race course) and is especially good at photoshopping and creating interesting memes.
Patrick: Raised in Georgia, Patrick Taylor graduated from Texas Christian University with a bachelor's degree and immediately commissioned into the United States Air Force, serving as an ICBM Combat Controller. After his military service, Patrick met his wife and moved to Louisville, becoming an Air Traffic Controller at Bowman field where he continued his standard of attention to detail. When Patrick met the professionals at HomeTeam he was instantly attracted to the refreshing atmosphere of men and women of high standards and high respect for others. We’re glad he did- Patrick is an outstanding member of our team!
Beth: Beth Farish is our Office Manager and has been with HomeTeam almost from the beginning. Her early career was with the FBI Public Affairs Office, and when she and her husband, Bill, were married, she put her full effort in to taking care of her family and homeschooling their children. Beth’s passion is customer service, and she is a master at efficiently managing thousands of tasks and serving homebuyers and realtors with the highest quality of service. In her spare time, if she gets any, she enjoys gardening, reading historical fiction, and travel to warm places.
Grace: Grace loves making people happy, whether it be clients, family, friends, or co-workers; working at HomeTeam provides her countless opportunities to do just that. When she’s not working, she enjoys flower arranging, nature, church and family activities, decorating for small events, music and Scripture Journaling. She also finds great pleasure in “quoting,” the art of voicing phrases from movies in the exact voice and tone it was originally said. Jimmy Stewart and Barney Fife rank among the highest in her repertoire! Grace is a Kentuckian and has lived in her birth-town her entire life. Having grown up in a large family and also in working for her Dad in his construction business for 8+ years, she has an appreciation for what it takes to make a house your home - the place where you live, love, laugh, cry, trust, and make memories!
Megan: Megan Farish is a marketing assistant and helps us keep in touch with our clients and agents. She tracks all sorts of information and reaches out to ensure we are providing the absolute highest level of service. Megan loves working with children, and has a business taking photographs of children and their families, and took many of our company photos this year. Her website is www.imagineframedphotography.com
